No late penalty points for first-year MTD quarterly updates

For people joining Making Tax Digital for Income Tax from April 2027, late submission penalty points will not apply to quarterly updates for the 2027-28 tax year. You will still need compatible software and quarterly updates, and we can help you get set up.
